So I just watch the first and second episode of Joss Whedon's Dollhouse and all I was
saying in my head will this last or will it go the way of the Do Do Bird. The first episode was ok set up the background of this world blah blah ok Joss I am still with you but the second episode really had me. Some peeps dont like going back and forth in a story timeline but I was really cool with it total Joss style. I loved watching the dynamic between Echo and her handler develop. I hope we as vewier dont develop an attachment for another Joss Whedon show that gets the axe before it can really get going.

I was asked today wth is going on with this series and as far as I know this animation which I have been waiting years on seems to be dead in the water. Very very sad for all us Buffy fans out there but if you need a fix make sure you read the Buffy and Angel comics as they pick up right after both shows left the air.
Buffy the Animated Series is an undeveloped animated TV show based on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Initially greenlit by 20th Century Fox in 2002, it went ultimately unproduced and unaired when no network was willing to buy the series. The series would have taken place in the middle of Buffy Season 1. Loeb described the continuity as "Episode 7.5",[1] possibly indicating that the bulk of the series would have taken place between "Angel" and "I Robot, You Jane".

Well last night I went and did it. I said I would not but I did any damn way. I walked my butt right into Gamestop and put a copy of Lich King on hold. Blah I already play too damn many MMOs (not really that is just what my wife says). I don't know, I just have not really been so jazzed up about the release but after reading so many little tidbit leaked in the past week I guess I had to jump on the bandwagon also. I am curious about the new talents for Warlock and Shaman so that will be worth it.
I will keep you all updated on my time in game on 11-13-08 as release day is almost here. How many of you said you would not be back to WOW but you know in the back of your mind you will pick it up also?

I guess it was bound to happen. WiIth Apple trying really hard to make it's system more friendly to gaming they had to get developers to bring their products over. I guess the peeps at NCsoft was listening and just announced that COH will be heading to the Mac platform very soon.
Today, October 30th, 2008, NCsoft announced a partnership with TransGaming, Inc. to bring the award-winning City of Heroes franchise to the Apple® Macintosh® computer platform for the company's western territories. The Mac version will be available for public beta testing with the release of the game's thirteenth free expansion, Issue 13: Power and Responsibility this fall. The official launch of the Macintosh version is planned to follow shortly thereafter via a special digital-only edition.
For more details, please click here to read the full press release. Here's an excerpt:
"Players will soon be able to join the battle of good versus evil in the most popular comic book MMO on both the PC and Mac platforms...and in the same game world," commented Brian Clayton, executive producer of City of Heroes for NCsoft West. "Given Mac's fame as a platform for creative people and City of Heroes' unprecedented character customization options, I think City of Heroes is a perfect fit for the Mac gaming community."

It seems as if everyone is down on Josh Weadon for stopping production on his new
show Dollhouse coming our way next year.Talking to SciFi Wire, Amy Acker let everyone know they just need to stop trippin the show's second production hiatus was no big deal:
You know, we did take a little break, [a]nd I feel like it's coming back, and everyone is just excited to be there... I think we just kind of had that time, because it doesn't air until January... Instead of rushing to make episodes, they thought, 'Well, we've already made four, and they're all going to be done before the first one airs. So we have the luxury to take the time and make them the way they want them.
There seems to be lots of rumors going around the web and as with any of them who knows what really is going on.
The midseason opportunity is a blessing and curse. It’s a blessing because you have more time. And it’s a curse because you have more time. There’s a greater level of scrutiny. There is a greater level of intrusion from executives. The bar just keeps being raised because there’s no urgency to put the show on the air, so at no point do you just let go of it and say, “You know what, now it’s time for this country to decide whether this is something that’s going to tap into the Zeitgeist and become culturally phenomenal or successful in general, or not.” Being stuck in that limbo with a lot of well-intentioned executives is very difficult for a creator like Joss.
With... “Angel,” we shut that down at the very beginning of the process. There was a creative retooling. We went back up after a little over a month and the show just found the place where the stories were the most interesting and the characters just popped. And that’s where we’ve come to with “Dollhouse.” There’s a very complicated mythology that Joss is trying to crack in a way that’s satisfying to a broad audience but will also satisfy his core fan base who will watch anything that Joss does. This is a big task.

Well I have been meaning to try out Tabula Rasa and I guess with some of the bad ass features coming I think it's time I do.
"We never saw it coming, but our leaders did." Handpicked and plucked from the midst of a devastating attack, the
Logos-receptive Humans were transported off Earth in a final retreat.
Of the 6.7 billion men, women, and children of Humanity, only a handful
were saved to wage the war against the Bane on distant planets. There
was no fighting the overwhelming forces invading Earth - there was only
enough time to cut and run and mourn our dead from a far off galaxy.
Earth was lost, they told us. Annihilated by the Bane. They were wrong. Earth is alive, though she is far from well. The Bane continue to
destroy and ravage the planet, bombarding it, infesting it, and
populating it with new and vicious troops suited to the terran
environment. The men and women we left behind, those not fortunate
enough to die in the initial attack, have organized their own fight
against the invaders. They are strapped for resources, scraping to get
by. For the survivors, "Hell on Earth" has become day-to-day reality. How do we go home? Who are these survivors? Why are the Bane unable
to wipe out Earth and Humanity as they've done to so many other
galactic civilizations? To learn the answers, you'll need to join us as
Tabula Rasa returns home to Earth in Deployment 15. In addition to
taking the fight back to our home turf in one of the most iconic cities
on Earth, the first Tabula Rasa Earth map will include: * Epic instanced control point gameplay for level 48 to 50 players We'll release additional information about Earth as we get closer to
D15, but in the meantime, events are gearing up on Foreas and Arieki
that will lead towards the return home. Future maps will continue this
storyline, providing new battlefronts in the fight for Earth's defense.
As always, we welcome your feedback on this and other changes planned
for Tabula Rasa! Susan "Leilo" Kath
Sarah Morrison, AFS
* All new setting and art design
* New monsters, including new Epic creatures and mini-bosses. These new
Epic creatures are designed to be a greater challenge, requiring the
efforts of coordinated squads with excellent weapons and gear to be
defeated.
* PvE Mech gameplay opportunities
* New armor sets available only on Earth.

Well yesterday I got a call from Gamestop that I could grab my long awaited copy of Fable 2 at Midnight but as I got to the store no go for this brotha boooooooo to

A few weeks ago, Microsoft announced that online co-op functionality for Fable 2 would not be ready soon enough to put on the disc. Rather, it would become available for download sometime after release. An exact date was not disclosed.
However, Microsoft just released an update as Lionhead recently completed development of the online component. It will be ready for download as a patch when the game hits the streets later this week.I know this is good news for all those really looking forward to playing with friends online. myself I will be sitting in my living room playing with my wife :) I better get my copy today lol

Server populations on Age of Conan are apparently not at the levels Funcom anticipated. Aiming to ensure "more healthy" populations, the company will be merging servers in both Europe and North America.
Game director Craig Morrison stated that Funcom is "actively working on an approach" to the server merge.
"Still, there are many complexities involved in this, and we want to ensure that everything happens as fair and streamlined as possible," says Morrison.
"That work has now started, and we are naturally making sure that guilds and players can get to new servers in the best possible way. We will come back with more info on this, but I hope that this will serve as a positive injection to the social scene in the game."
Morrison also says that players can expect to see DirectX 10 functionality, which remained on the internal test servers for Age of Conan's launch, entering the full test server environment with the next gameplay update.
"How long it will take to transition to live will depend on the testing of course, but it’s starting to shape up nicely," he says.
